Restore a purchase

Bought an aisle ($9) or both ($14) and it’s gone after a reinstall or on a new phone?

  • Open Store Brand, tap the menu, then Flavours & settings, then Restore purchase.
  • Or tap Restore purchases on any “Want another one?” screen.
  • Check the phone is signed in to the Apple ID that bought it.

There is no Store Brand account, so there’s nothing to sign in to.

What counts as a play

Today's puzzle in every game is free, every day. Any other puzzle needs that game’s aisle or a bonus play, which is spent on your first move in a new puzzle, not when you open the game or look at the board. One play of WORDS is a run of 4 levels.

A new daily puzzle arrives at midnight, your time. Bonus plays keep until you use them. In an aisle you own there are no limits.

How the daily works

Each game has one puzzle of the day, the same for everyone, numbered from day 1 on 2026-10-03. It is always free and never spends a play. A new one arrives at midnight, your time. On the web, at /play, the daily is the puzzle you get.

Kid Size

Kid Size is a separate app with its own $9 unlock. Purchases, restore and settings sit behind the grown-ups gate.

  • Tap GROWN-UPS on the home screen and hold it for 2 seconds.
  • Answer the multiplication on the number pad.
  • Tap RESTORE PURCHASE, signed in to the Apple ID that bought it.

Questions about Kid Size go to the same address, sal@dested.com.

Kid Size 2–5

The $9 unlock is shared with your family through Family Sharing. To restore it, open GROWN-UPS on the home screen, pass the gate and tap RESTORE PURCHASE. Questions go to sal@dested.com.

Kitchen Sink

Every tool’s purchase, and Everything, belongs to the Apple ID that bought it. To get them back on a new phone, open Settings in Kitchen Sink and tap Restore purchases. Everything you make stays on the phone, in your phone’s own backup; export from a tool before you delete the app. Questions go to sal@dested.com.
